How do I find the cut-off date?

It is written in the exam notice, like “Age limit as on 01-08-2026”. Type that date. Your age is counted on that day, not today.

How much age relaxation do I get?

Central government rules (SSC, UPSC, Railways, banks): OBC 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years (13 for OBC, 15 for SC/ST). EWS and General get none. Ex-servicemen get 3 years after taking away their service years. State jobs may differ.

What does “born not before / not after” mean?

Notices often say who can apply by date of birth. If your date of birth is between the two dates shown, your age is fine.

Is the exam list correct?

The ages shown for SSC, UPSC and bank exams are the usual ones. Every notice can be different, so always check the notice and change the numbers if needed.

Is my date of birth saved?
