Questions

What is the bid capacity formula?

Bid capacity = (A × N × M) − B. A = the highest value of work you did in any one of the last 5 financial years (updated to today's prices), N = time for this work in years (months ÷ 12), M = usually 2, B = value of your ongoing works still to be done in the next N years.

When am I eligible?

Your bid capacity should be more than the estimated cost of the tender.

Why is the old year's work increased?

Most NITs ask to bring old years to today's prices, usually by 7% per year. You can change or switch this off.
